We’re thrilled to introduce our latest addition to the Mega Cargo Control product line—Kinetic Recovery Tow Ropes,
specifically designed for those tough recovery situations where strength and reliability are important. Available in two sizes (1" and 7/8" Widths), these ropes are a must-have for anyone serious about off-road adventures or vehicle recovery operations.
Our new Kinetic Recovery Tow Ropes are designed for ultimate strength!
With an impressive breaking strength of 30,800 lbs, this heavy-duty rope comes in lengths of 20ft and 30ft, providing the versatility you need for different recovery scenarios.
If you need something slightly smaller, we also offer a 7/8" Kinetic Recovery Tow Rope with a breaking strength of 22,000 lbs, also available in 20ft and 30ft lengths.
Kinetic Recovery Ropes (KRRs), also known as snatch ropes or yanker ropes, are designed to stretch, which is the key to their effectiveness.
When a recovery rope stretches, it transfers kinetic energy from the recovering vehicle to the stuck vehicle. This stretch allows the pulling vehicle to use its own kinetic energy to reduce the amount of force needed to free the stuck vehicle. This feature makes kinetic recovery ropes especially useful in low traction situations where conventional chains or tow straps might fail.
Applications and Suitable Vehicles
These recovery ropes are ideal for a wide range of vehicles, including trucks, SUVs, ATVs, and even larger vehicles like tractors and construction equipment. Whether you're pulling a 4x4 out of deep mud or rescuing a stranded vehicle in the snow, our kinetic recovery ropes are up to the task.
